In January we celebrate being a Lutheran School.
Hope Lutheran School will join other schools around the world and rejoice why Lutheran schools are a great place to attend.
“National Lutheran Schools Week provides our network of nearly 2,300 LCMS preschools, elementary schools and high schools with the public opportunity to proclaim and celebrate God’s work among us in Lutheran schools.
We thank God for the opportunity to provide excellent academic preparation for the children we serve. We are most grateful for the opportunity to share Jesus’ amazing love with children and their families. National Lutheran Schools Week gives us an opportunity to proclaim these great blessings within the communities we serve.
Our schools are amazing incubators for faithful witness of God’s love for us through Christ by teachers and students alike.” (Source: http://www.lcms.org/lutheranschoolsweek).
The theme for 2017 is “Upon This Rock,” based on Isaiah 26:4 “Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord is an everlasting rock.”
During the week of January 22nd – 27th, we will have different activities that our faculty and students will participate and lead. We will have guest devotional leaders from Lutheran churches in the area. Student Council will be hosting a Lutheran Spirit Week. We will also have a 500 Reformation party as we celebrate with the church 500 years of reformation.
We are blessed to be part of a Lutheran School and to have a congregation that fully supports the school ministry. We are fortunate to be able to learn and grow in our faith at Hope Lutheran School.
Thank you Hope Lutheran Church for the ongoing support for our students and teachers.
