Mrs. Lisa Bahr joined Hope in the fall of 2019.  Mrs. Bahr will be starting her 16th year of teaching this August and is excited about her role as the 6th grade homeroom teacher.  Mrs. Bahr graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s in Public Relations.  Soon she realized her passion for teaching math and quickly enrolled at Rockhurst University, completed her Master’s in Education, and has been teaching ever since.  Post graduate coursework, Mrs. Bahr continued her education to get the certification required to teach dual-credit high school/college courses.  Mrs. Bahr has experience in teaching 6th grade math through Calculus.  This fall, she is looking forward to teaching math to our middle school students.  In addition, Mrs. Bahr started her colloquy program in June 2020, which is helping her continue her knowledge of Lutheran doctrine and teaching, and finishes her last class in September 2021.  Mrs. Bahr is delighted to be combining her passion for teaching and her love of Christ as she journeys down a new path at Hope Lutheran Church and School.
