The 4th and 5th graders tagged and released 15 Monarch butterflies on Friday and 8 more on Tuesday! We have a few chrysalides in each classroom, so we will have at least one more release day! Then it will be time to jar up the 65 lbs. of honey that Mr. Hockman harvested this past summer! It has been a busy and exciting beginning to our school year! It will be nice to visit with parents this week to share the growth we have been seeing in our students and what goals we have for each of them! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for taking time to visit with the teacher and share your insights!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sept. 23 \u2013 Field Trip to Ernie Miller and Wildwood Outdoor Education<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n The 4th graders will be attending their first field trip of the year on Tuesday, September 23rd to participate in a 1700\u2019s Heritage History Lab experience and meet a French-Canadian fur trapper, an Osage Indian, and a pioneer from the 1800\u2019s. Please send a sack lunch <\/em><\/strong>for your child. Drivers\/chaperones will need to bring a sack lunch as well. Students will need to dress in jeans and a Hope Spirit shirt<\/em><\/strong>. This is an outdoor event so please send an appropriate jacket for the weather<\/em><\/strong>. The classroom link will contain the class newsletter, Memory, and Spelling. This email will come from either Mrs.Krzesinski, Mrs. Begley, Mrs. McIntosh, or Mrs. Schkade.
