Dear Hope Family,

Due to the recommendations of President Trump, Governor Kelly and the Centers for Disease Control, we are cancelling the midweek Lenten Services this week.  We will be posting on the church web site the elements of the service, we would have done tomorrow, including readings, sermon, and hymns. The Corona virus situation is fluid and changing daily. Please watch for emails from Hope in the coming days regarding updates for future church services. In the meantime, feed your faith by reading the Bible, doing devotions such as the following:

*LHM – www.lhm.org

*Worship Anew – www.worshipanew.org

*Around the Word Journal – www.whatdoesthismean.org

*The Word of the Lord Endures podcast – https://thewordendures.org/

*KS District Adult Education committee resources – https://kslcms.org/education-youth/adult-education/

*Issues Etc. – www.issuesetc.org

By feeding your faith, this will limit your fears.  Starve your fears by limiting your exposure to the news, which can lead to fear and panic in this global pandemic. Please remember at this time Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Also, to sustain the church operations, please remember your offerings. This is a hardship on many, Hope is not exempt from this. You can give online (contact the church office for help with this if needed), mailing or hand deliver to the church office.

Peace be with you during this time of uncertainty.
