Acolytes are youth who assist in worship services and school chapel by lighting and extinguishing the candles in the chancel. Crucifers and Torchbearers carry the processional cross and torches at festival and other special services, including Christmas Eve, Easter, Confirmation, and Reformation.<\/p>\n

Altar Guild serves Hope by setting the altar for Holy Communion, and by maintaining altar linens, altar paraments, vestments for worship assistants, sacred vessels, and Communion supplies. It also arranges for chancel flowers, Christmas poinsettias, Palm Sunday palms, and Easter lilies.<\/p>\n

Greeters welcome members and visitors before and after services at Hope. Different groups assist at each service on a rotating basis.<\/p>\n

Ushers distribute worship bulletins, usher worshipers for Communion, seating, and dismissal, and help get the Sanctuary ready for worship services. Different teams serve at each service, rotating on a monthly basis.<\/p>\n
