From Lutheran Hour Ministries Men\u2019s NetWork: A Man Named M A R T I N<\/h4>
Nearly 500 years ago, an unknown monk from a backwater town in Germany set in motion a movement that would transform Western civilization. The impact Martin Luther had on Christianity is enormous. But how did this miner\u2019s son change the world? In this video-based Bible study, we will examine the life and times of a man who was himself transformed from forlorn sinner feeling lost before a stern and exacting Judge to forgiven sinner-saint by the grace of God in Christ Jesus. Through his rediscovery of this and the other Spiritdelivered truths of Scripture, his translation of the Bible into \u201cthe people\u2019s language,\u201d his hymns, his Catechisms, and more, Martin Luther inspired a Reformation that reverberates throughout the Church and the world to this day.<\/p>
