Hi all,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope you are having a blessed and productive week during this hectic and joy-filled time of year. The class has been doing very well as we navigate this busy season together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Math:<\/strong>
We are continuing to explore shapes, with a strong focus on 3D shapes this week. The students are doing an impressive job, especially considering the higher-level thinking these concepts require.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading:<\/strong>
We are working on blends and wrapping up our final new letter sounds. We will not be reading a short story this week as we finish these essential skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social Studies:<\/strong>
Our class has enjoyed learning about Washington D.C., and Abraham Lincoln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Science:<\/strong>
We are finishing up our current unit over movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Handwriting:<\/strong>
Students are continuing to practice individual letters. Soon, we will transition to writing short words and sentences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A big thank you<\/strong> to our wonderful Room Moms for organizing our class Christmas Party on Friday, December 19th<\/strong>. All parents are welcome to join! Our class and I are incredibly grateful for your creativity, hard work, and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
