Hi there! It sounds like you have a very exciting February planned for your classroom. Here is a draft for your weekly update that is organized, friendly, and clear for parents.

🎒 Weekly Class Update

Hi Families,

We have some wonderful milestones and celebrations coming up in the next few weeks! Please take a look at the details below regarding our 100th Day of School and our upcoming Valentine’s Day party.

đź’Ż The 100th Day of School

When: Thursday, February 5

To celebrate being 100 days smarter, we are asking each student to bring in 100 items of their choice to show the class! This is a great way for students to visualize how big the number 100 really is.

A few guidelines for the items:

  • Keep it Small: All items must be able to fit inside your child’s backpack.
  • Keep it Simple: Please do not send in sentimental or valuable items.
  • Ideas: Pennies, buttons, feathers, paperclips, or Cheerios are all great options!

❤️ Valentine’s Day Party

When: Friday, February 13 @ 2:00 PM

You are cordially invited! All parents and loved ones are welcome to join us in the classroom as we celebrate.

Valentine Bags:

We will be making our own Valentine bags in class this year. To make sure everyone has a similar experience, please do not send in a pre-made box or bag from home. We’ve got the supplies ready to go!

Valentine Cards:

If your child would like to exchange Valentines, please keep the following in mind:

  • The Count: Please send in 14 Valentines (we have 15 students total).
  • The Labels: To make our “delivery” process go smoothly, please have your child only sign their name in the “From” section, or leave the cards entirely blank.
  • Important: Please do not address them to individual students. This makes it much easier for the children to hand them out!

Thank you for all your support in making these days so special for our students! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
