Operation Christmas Child \u2013 <\/strong>Thanks to all who participated in filling boxes for Operation Christmas Child this year. We offered them up during our chapel service on Wednesday along with our prayers for those who will receive them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christmas Families\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Our school will also be sharing the love of Christ this Christmas by sharing gifts of food, clothing, and other items with families who are less fortunate. Hope is adopting 5 families this year. Watch for more information about how you can help with this mission. Next week will begin to collect grocery items. On Tuesday, our class is asked to donate 1 family-size soup or 1-2 small cans (prefer Chicken Noodle, Tomato, Cream of Mushroom, Cream on Chicken). Thursday is boxed item day. Please donate crackers, pasta noodles, hamburger helper, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social Studies test <\/strong>\u2013 We will be taking our chapter 2 test over the Region of Europe on Monday next week. Study guides are coming home in this week’s envelope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book Reports <\/strong>\u2013 All of the students have chosen the fiction book that they would like to present for their book reports. Below you will find the book report information again. Completed posters will be due on Friday, December 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For reading<\/strong>, we will be using the book, Thanksgiving on Thursday, by Mary Pope Osborne, for a book study. The students will work with a Reader\u2019s Notebook as we read this historical fiction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
