Field Trips:
- Please make sure your student is returning their field trip permission forms to me. Our TimberRidge permission slips are due tomorrow (Sep 5th)! We could still use more volunteers to drive if you are available.

- Lutheran High School: October, 23rd
MAP Testing:
- We have one last day of MAP testing!
- Friday, September 5 – SCIENCE – 11:30 – 1:00
Hyvee Sacking for Tips:
- Planned for 11/16 and 11/18
- Sunday 11/16- Planning to meet there after service around 10:30. Should be done around 3:00 or when the crowds start to dwindle down because of the Chiefs game at 3:25.
- 11/18- 10 am- 4 pm, or drop-in when you are available.
Student Council:
- If your student is interested in joining the Student Council, they have received a permission slip to take home. Please make sure to sign and send it back if you would like them to participate. All members of the Student Council must maintain acceptable conduct and a grade average in order to run and hold office. Members must have an ongoing 88% academic average in each class per quarter.
- Speeches will be held at our Pep Rally next Thursday, September 11th at 2:00 and voting will take place afterwards in the classroom.

Students are welcome to spend the day shadowing a current Cougar to get a firsthand experience of Northwest life. We are also happy to consider additional dates if that would work better for your community.

- Chapel offerings are being distributed to the Lutheran Urban Mission Agency (LUMA) for the first quarter.
