Eligibility
Eligibility for the winter sports season began this week. Students must maintain a 75% or higher in their classes in order to be eligible for that week. Parents will be notified by email if their athlete is ineligible on Tuesdays.
Stony Point
Each year, the 8th graders are paired up with a child from Stony Point Elementary. This year, we are able to go to their school on Friday, November 21st, for a “Friendsgiving”. This will be an opportunity for Hope students to meet Stony Point students, get to know each other, before the 7th and 8th graders shop for Christmas presents for them. Please fill out and return permission slips promptly.
Bake Sale
Our Milt Brueggmann Basketball Tournament is approaching! We are so excited to host this tournament and need your help! All families of students in the 7th and 8th grade are expected to contribute at least one dozen cookies or bake sale item for the event. We need all items brought to school by December 4th. All donations will go directly to funding the students that they will shop for at Stony Point.

The 7th & 8th grade students have the opportunity to provide a Christmas celebration for physically and developmentally handicapped students attending Stony Point North Elementary School in KCK. During the Milt Brueggemann Basketball Tournament, the 7th & 8th grade classes will be hosting a bake sale to raise money for that Christmas celebration.
Please sign up for at least 2 half-hour time slots for you and your child to work at the bake sale table. We are asking that every student participate in this fundraiser. Students are expected to stay at the table during their shift.

Operation Christmas Child
Our school has several boxes outside the school office that we hope to fill and send out by November 12th. We are encouraging each student to take home a box to help those in need this holiday season. In addition, our classrooms will also be making a box together. The 7th graders will be collecting items for a boy, and the 8th graders will be collecting boxes for a girl. Please check with your classroom teacher to find information on the Signup Genius for these items. Thank you for helping us share Christ’s love this holiday season!
Lutheran High Open House

Dessert Dash
If you need volunteer hours, a great way to do that is to participate in our dessert dash! We will be auctioning deserts during the auction. The desserts do not need to be homemade.
