Thank you for taking time to read the Middle School Scoop! Next week is National Lutheran Schools Week followed by Spring Break! This is a very busy time for us, so please make sure to read the newsletter carefully for important information.

We wanted to share a quick update on some temporary changes for the next few weeks. As you’ve read in the email from Mrs. Jankowski, Miss Mondary will be serving as acting principal for the time being. Mrs. Schempp will be the long-term sub in 7th grade during this time. Please reach out to us for any questions you may have.

Immanuel Food Pantry

7th and 8th grade students will be serving at the Immanuel Food Pantry on Tuesday, March 10th for community service during National Lutheran Schools Week from 9:15-11:45. Students are to wear their school uniforms, but prepared to serve outside as well. Both classes need drivers, so please contact your homeroom teacher if you are able to volunteer for this event.  Immanuel will provide lunch to students, but they are welcome to bring one from home as well. Students may wear their class color shirts with uniform bottoms.

Singing for National Lutheran Schools Week

The students from 6th through 8th grade will sing at the 8:00 am church service on Sunday, March 8th. We are blessed to be able to share our faith with the church members of Hope. Please contact your homeroom teacher and Mrs. Schkade if your student is unable to attend.

Celebrate America Project

All students at Hope are participating in projects for the Celebrate America event. 7th and 8th grade students have received assignments in class. While we will have in-class work time, please make sure your student is working on this project at home as well.
