Happy National Lutheran’s School Week! We’ve had many exciting activities this week and look forward to concluding with Grandparents Day tomorrow! Thank you for all of the volunteer drivers and food donations for our service project at Immanuel. With the help of our students, the food pantry was able to serve 294 cars, which was around 1,400 adults and children. It was a touching experience and the students did a fantastic job.
Chromebooks
Chromebooks will be turned off and designated as off-hours for the break, so students will not be able to access the internet on them. They are welcome to leave them in our locked cabinet over the break.
Grandparents Day
Students are singing for the Grandparents Day program tomorrow. Please make sure your students have full uniforms- no spirit wear or silly socks. They should also leave all sweatshirts/hoodies in the classroom for the performance. Grandparents and special friends may arrive at 8:10 and enjoy refreshments before the program begins at 9:00. The book fair will be open during the event. Please make sure your student checks in with their homeroom teacher if they are leaving early. Dismissal will begin at 11:30 for those who stay.
Celebrate America Project
All students at Hope are participating in projects for the Celebrate America event. 7th and 8th grade students have received assignments in class. While we will have in-class work time, please make sure your student is working on this project at home as well. Please make sure students are checking their folders to stay on top of their due dates.
