I can’t believe we are almost to the end of the year! I know it is a busy time, but we have a lot of learning and things to do. Here’s a few reminders for the upcoming week:

  • Olympic Day at Lutheran High is tomorrow. Students should wear their PE uniforms and bring a water bottle and lunch if they are not signed up for pizza.
  • MAP Testing and finals begin next week. Please make sure your student has a fully charged Chromebook each day and are getting enough sleep.
  • There is no school next Friday, May 1st.
  • Celebrating America Event
    • This is a mandatory event for all students. They should be here at 5:15 in the classroom with uniform bottoms and their Washington DC shirt/hoodie.
    • All artifacts are due tomorrow 4/24. Students have had a month to work on these.
    • After the performance, parents will pick up their students from the classroom and visit other rooms for light refreshments.
  • The last day of study hall is May 13th. Chromebooks and chargers are due May 14th after our last final.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Matthew 19:4 He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the

beginning made them male and female,”

John 15:19-20 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.
