Thank you for taking time to read the newsletter! I am excited to meet with all of you these next two days to discuss your child as we partner to make sure they have a successful 8th grade year!
Timber Ridge
Thank you to all our volunteer drivers! We have enough drivers for transporting our students to the field trip on September 23rd. Chaperones are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing. We will be visiting several areas of the facility and seating is not available at all of them. If you’d like to bring a lawn chair or sunscreen, you are welcome to! Students should wear their PE uniforms and outside shoes. They need to bring their lunch and water bottle. Students are also welcome to bring sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, and/or hats since we will be outside all day.
Picture Day
Next Thursday, September 25th is picture day! We will be taking photos for this school year as well as fall sports photos. Students who participate in sports need to bring their uniform to school that day. Students are welcome to wear a non-uniform top with uniform bottoms. Girls may also wear dresses, but will need to change into their uniform after their photos have been taken.
Choir
Students in 6th-8th grade will sing in church on October 12th at 10:30. All students should participate. Please make note of this date and plan for your student to be at Hope.
Pie Sale
The 7th and 8th grade classes are selling pies to help the 8th grade class raise funds for their DC trip. The order form will be due on October 6th, 2025 and delivery will be the week of November 8th. Thank you for supporting our students!
PAHS Auction
Our Annual Hope Lutheran PAHS auction is on November 8th. Money raised in our auction goes toward Art, Music, Spanish, and technology. If you can donate something to the auction this year, bring it by and drop it off in the school office. Please note items must be new. Help us make this year’s auction a huge success! WE NEED DONATIONS! If you have any questions about a donation, please contact KATIE BURNS at auction@hopelutheran.org. Information about the auction is going home in Thursday’s folder.
Hyvee Sacking for Tips:
- 11/16 (Sunday)- Arrive at 10:30 and should conclude by 3:00
- 11/18- 10 am- 4 pm, or drop in as you are available
