Yesterday, we began Lent with an Ash Wednesday service as a school family. We are entering this season of Lent with a grateful heart as we continue to practice our gratitude activities each morning. I pray that all of you have time to focus as a family on preparing to celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection.

Matthew 23:37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!”
1 Kings 4:29-30 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding beyond measure, and breadth of mind like the sand on the seashore, so that Solomon’s wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all the people of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
