Our food drive is next week, October 16 – 20, please bring in any non perishable items such as, canned fruits and vegetables, rice, pasta, and peanut butter. Just a reminder, the end of the first quarter is October 20th, so make sure your student turns in any corrections they plan on makings before then.

Our school theme is “Connected” with our verse of “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.“–John 15:1-5.

Chapel offerings will go to LeadaChild for 1st quarter. 

Dental Screenings – On Thursday, October 26, dental screenings will start around 1:00 p.m.  Dr. Bohaty will screen K-8. Toothbrushes will be provided.

Vision Screenings – On Thursday, November 2, vision screenings will start around 12:00 p.m. The Lions Club will bring their vision machine. This screening will include Kindergarten through 3rd, 5th, 7th, and all NEW students to the school. If you do not want your child screened please contact Nurse Buckmaster directly at buckmaster@hopelutheran.org.

Religion – Make sure your student is bringing their Bibles and Luther’s Small Catechism to school.

Chick-fil-a Night – Come support Hope and catch up with other families Thursday October 26 from 4-9 pm at the Oak Park Mall Chick-fil-a.

Auction – Our November 4th auction is coming up please contact the 7th grade room moms (Mrs. Schmitz and Mrs. Burns) to see what our basket still needs. Also, tickets and reservations for this event are due by Monday 10-16.

Chromebooks – Make sure your student is charging their laptops every night. Students are unable to charge their Chromebooks while at school, so it is important they are charging them while at home.
