8th grade Newsletter October 17

October 23, 2024

This week and next week we have a few students going on trips. This week Tyson is on a mission trip to Honduras. Next week Max and Jo’Dee are going to Mexico. Please keep them in your prayers.

D.C. Fundraiser –

Rake-a-thon: This Washington, D.C. trip fundraiser is scheduled for November 16, 2024, from 8:30-1:00. It can only happen if there are enough 7th and 8th graders available. Please email Mrs. Schkade as soon as possible to let her know if your child will rake leaves with us that day so she can contact the homeowners to set it up. An email with more information was sent out a few days ago, and you are welcome to contact Mrs. Schkade with any questions.

Room Parents – Please make sure you are contacting Mrs. Burns and or Mrs. Schmitz to see how you can help with our luck of the Irish themed auction basket.

Eligibility – Make sure your student has at least a 75% so they can be eligible for extracurricular activities include all athletic, Spring Play, and non-athletic school sponsored clubs. Band, Chess Club, and Lego Club are excluded from eligibility requirements.
