D.C. Trip –

The 8th grade D.C. meeting was held April 15th in the 7th grade classroom, if you missed the meeting, feel free to contact Mrs. Jankowski or Miss. Mondary to get the information.

Serve-A-Thon – This year the 8th grade class raised over $1,500. Good job 8th grade especially with how many fundraisers you have done this year.

International Fair Costume – I have found a German costume on amazon that I believe will work. Students will need a white shirt to wear under the costume. The costume does come with knee high white socks, these should fit most of the students, we will try on the costumes this week so that way if alterations are needed there will be plenty of time.

International Fair Room Moms – I will need your help for the International Fair. I will need help passing out food and stamping passports. If you could trade off every at 30 minutes and help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Eligibility – Make sure your student has at least a 75% so they can be eligible for extracurricular activities include all athletic, Spring Play, and non-athletic school sponsored clubs. Band, Chess Club, and Lego Club are excluded from eligibility requirements.

Memory:

April 28
1 Corinthians 15:16-19 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised.
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.
Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in Christ we
have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.

April 30
1 Corinthians 15:20-22 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of
those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come
also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all
be made alive.
