8th Grade Newsletter 5/1

Congratulations to Jamie on getting first place in the Lutherans for Life essay! Good luck at the national level! I also hope everyone has a fun time in D.C. next week.

Spring Finals –

  1. History – International Fair
  2. ELA – May 1st at 12:30
  3. Math – May 13th at 8:45
  4. Science – May 15 at 10:25 and 11:15 depending on red vs. gold grouping

D.C. Trip –

The 8th grade D.C. meeting was held April 15th in the 7th grade classroom, if you missed the meeting, feel free to contact Mrs. Jankowski or Miss. Mondary to get the information.

International Fair – Please make sure that your student is wearing a white shirt when they come back to Hope at 5:45pm for the international fair. Students will be able to get changed before the opening ceremony at 6:00pm. After the parade/dancing, the students will come back to the 8th grade homeroom where they will wait for you to pick them up so they can go to the different “countries”.

Eligibility – Make sure your student has at least a 75% so they can be eligible for extracurricular activities include all athletic, Spring Play, and non-athletic school sponsored clubs. Band, Chess Club, and Lego Club are excluded from eligibility requirements.

about why the topic that you’ve chosen is true.
