8th grade Newsletter October 2

The 8th graders led chapel yesterday, they did a great job explaining the second article with sign language. The 8th graders are still doing a really good job of walking quietly in the halls. We are now working on staying quiet during instructions, that way the teacher only needs to say the instructions once.

D.C. Fundraiser –

Please make sure that if your student has sold any pies, that they get the order forms turned in tomorrow Friday, October 4. The goal is that each 8th grader sells 13 pies.

Room Parents – Please make sure you are contacting Mrs. Burns and or Mrs. Schmitz to see how you can help with our luck of the Irish themed auction basket.

Eligibility – Make sure your student has at least a 75% so they can be eligible for extracurricular activities include all athletic, Spring Play, and non-athletic school sponsored clubs. Band, Chess Club, and Lego Club are excluded from eligibility requirements.

World History 4/17

The 6th graders this week have been reviewing Ancient China, getting ready for our test today. We are going to start our last 2 chapters when we get back from Easter Break. Our last Chapters will be Chapter 11 and 12, both of which deal with the Romans.
