In math class, we will continue studying for our final that will take place on May 16th during the students normal class time. Please make sure your student is getting enough sleep at night and is eating a good breakfast in the morning.
We are getting ready for our final on 5/16. In order to do this, we have started working on one of our three reviews. We will go through the reviews as a class and spend time on questions that students are not sure about.
Friday 4/26 we will begin reviewing for our Chapter 10 test. We will take our Chapter 10 test Tuesday 4/30. After we take our Chapter 10 test, we will begin studying for our Final.
We are continuing our Geometry unit, Chapters 9 and 10. Students are learning the names of different polygon, and the total degrees each has. Students will also work on the comments I made about their Science Fair graphs.
Students Science Fair graphs and explanations of the graphs will be due Friday 4/12. I will have comments on their graphs and explanations ready on Monday, that way the students can fix their graphs if needed before the Science Fair. We have finish Chapter 6, so we...
I am currently doing individual conferences with the students to help them figure out the best way to graph their Science Fair data. We will start Chapter 10 about finding perimeter, area, and circumference of different shapes.
