Psalm 2:10-12<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 Now therefore, O kings, be wise;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    be warned, O rulers of the earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11 Serve the Lord with fear,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    and rejoice with trembling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12 Kiss the Son,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    lest he be angry, and you perish in the way,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    for his wrath is quickly kindled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blessed are all who take refuge in him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am languishing;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introduction to the Lord\u2019s Prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Father who art in heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does this mean?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With these words God tenderly invites us to believe that He is our true Father and that we are His true children, so that with all boldness and confidence we may ask Him as dear children ask their dear father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
