Friday, April 10 – John 15:1-5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>Isaiah 53:4-5<\/strong>
<\/strong>4 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>\u201cAnd whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.\u201d
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THURSDAY, April 23 –  Isaiah 53:7-9<\/strong>
<\/strong>7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.
8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people?
9 And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THURSDAY, APRIL 30 – Isaiah 53:10-12 <\/strong>
<\/strong>10 Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11 Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday, May 8 – <\/strong> Isaiah 40:27-31<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

27 Why do you say, O Jacob,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    and speak, O Israel,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy way is hidden from the Lord,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    and my right is disregarded by my God\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

28 Have you not known? Have you not heard?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lord is the everlasting God,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    the Creator of the ends of the earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He does not faint or grow weary;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    his understanding is unsearchable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

29 He gives power to the faint,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    and to him who has no might he increases strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

30 Even youths shall faint and be weary,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    and young men shall fall exhausted;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    they shall mount up with wings like eagles;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

they shall run and not be weary;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    they shall walk and not faint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
