Report Cards: Your student’s report card is coming home in the Thursday envelopes this week. Report cards will be in a white envelope. You will keep the report card. Please sign and return the envelope to confirm that you have received the report card.
Trunk-or-Treat: Come dressed up in your costumes for Trunk-or-Treat Friday evening 5:30-7pm. We hope to see you there!
Hope’s Heroes Auction and Costume Party – Parents Auction for Hope School (PAHS) is on Saturday, November 9. Two free tickets will be in your child’s Thursday Folder. If you wish to purchase more tickets for your child to put their name on it at a chance to win prizes for the auction, it will be $1 for each ticket.
Math: We finished up chapter 3, which all about multiplication. We have begun our division skills in chapter 4 this week. Please, feel free to have your child work on their math facts at home on 99math.com!
Reading: We are currently read Bud, Not Buddy, which is a novel about a young orphan boy living in the Great Depression on a mission to find his dad
Writing: We started our third personal narratives. Our class is responding to a prompt to share a dream they want to achieve in their life. This can range from a career goal to visiting all 50 states. We are excited to share our dreams we have with each other when we finish the writing process!
Social Studies: We are finishing up an overview of United States History from the time of its discovery until present day. We have looked at map changes, the economy, the geography, and major historical events that has shaped our country.
