Miss Mondary led our chapel today about signs. The scripture reading was about John the Baptist telling the people three times that he is not the Christ, and that he is not even worthy of untying Christ’s shoes. God gave signs, or directions, to the Old Testament prophets to share the message of the coming Messiah. God’s sign to John was to baptize. Our sign from God is the Gospel, that Jesus died on the cross for the salvation of the world. We are to be like the prophets and share God’s Word!
