Monday: Students need to bring backpacks and grocery sacks to bring home items from their desk and lockers. Today students will bring home workbooks from their desks.
Monday is FIELD DAY. Students are to wear their PE uniforms (yellow Hope shirt and black athletic shorts) for the day. We will be outside being physically active for a couple of hours in the morning. It is important that every student bring their water bottle this day.
Tuesday: Students need to bring backpacks and grocery sacks to bring home items from their desk and lockers. Today students will bring home school supplies from their desks and art boxes.
Tuesday is PICNIC DAY. Students are to bring a sack lunch for the picnic. We will be signing yearbooks in the afternoon as a whole school to end the day.
Wednesday: Students need to bring backpacks and grocery sacks to bring home items from their desk and lockers. Today students will bring home anything left in their desks and lockers. Students will also bring home any awards received during our closing chapel.
Wednesday is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL. We will celebrate together by closing out the year with chapel, celebrating summer birthdays, awards, and celebrations. our dismissal will be our normal routine for the car line pick-up procedures.
Summer Reading List 2025-2026
At Hope Lutheran School, we value reading, and reading every day during the summer is important. Students at each grade level (1st – 8th grade) are REQUIRED to read books by August 15, 2024.
GOING INTO Sixth Grade Read at least two books from the list below. For two of them, fill in the diagram from the flyer sent home. Your book may have more or less Rising and Falling Action than this diagram shows. Then, use these events to type a 1-2 page summary of each book in 12-point font, double-spaced.
