Fifth graders led our chapel with a message about preparing for Jesus. The Bible reading from Matthew was the events of Palm Sunday. Both that day and Judgement Day are days of Jesus being welcomed by His followers. The best ways to prepare for Jesus are to attend church services and worship Him in prayer and song. Reading His Word also prepares us. Come, Lord Jesus!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cChristmas Families\u201d donations- December 5th-13th: gift cards to Price Chopper, HyVee, Target, Walmart, or Aldi. Please write the amount of the gift on the back of the card. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our first Christmas program practices are going very well. Please help your child to memorize their part with good voice levels, intonation, and voice expression. This is a joyful time of year, and with that comes the great blessing of sharing the good news about Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All are welcome at Hope\u2019s Advent church services at 4:00 and 7:00 each Wednesday evening until Christmas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grades 1-8 Crown Center performance – December 17 @ 5:30. This is a required performance for all choirs and bands. Please contact your child\u2019s homeroom teacher in case of sickness. All students should wear black pants\/skirts and white tops. Girls may wear all-black dresses. There will be no basketball practice this evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grades 1-8 Christmas program – December 19 @ 6:30. All students should wear their \u201cChristmas best.\u201d This should not include jeans. There will be no basketball practice this evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
