The Board of Education wants to welcome you and your students to the 2018-2019 school year.
On registration day, each family will pay an auction fee of $50.00 ($25.00 for single parents). The fee is being accessed to provide support for the annual PAHS Auction. This year’s auction will be held on November 3, 2018. In the following years, this fee will be added to the fees paid annually (activity, technology, etc.).
Why was this fee added? The annual fundraiser pays the teacher salaries for the specials that we offer which include Art, Spanish, and Music. The fee will automatically help with the preparation of the auction. With this fee you will also receive two (or one) meal tickets, so you can attend and be part of the auction.
Again, to your question why? The funds raised also go for needed items such as keeping technology current, new tables and chairs, updating the playground, and additional services. Each year a non-profit in the area is chosen to receive a percentage of the dollars received on auction night. If we were to budget for these items, it would raise tuition costs and we try very hard to control expenses.
So to make this fundraising event successful, we need parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends to come out and support us.
