BAND
Information About the Program
The students are split into two ensembles: Beginning Band (B Band) and Advanced Band (A Band). Each will meet twice a week from 7:30- 8:15 am in the music room. B Band will meet on Mondays, and Wednesdays starting September 4th. A Band will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting September 3rd.

Week of September 8th
General InformationWeek 4 of band classes is now complete! This week we continued to build on our momentum from last week in A band and I handed out a new, highly requested, pep band song. 4th and 5th grade started to make sounds on their full instruments this week....

Band Director
Miss Beumer graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a Bachelors of
Music Education. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, but has lived in multiple states due to her father serving in the U.S. Air Force. She grew up in the Lutheran faith and is looking forward to teaching at a Lutheran school. Rachel was surrounded by music growing up and cannot wait to share the joys of music with her students. Some activities she enjoys in her free time is reading, writing, spending time with family, and visiting zoos.
