This week was the second week of band class and it was very successful! Thank you parents for getting your students here on time and thank you students for your enthusiasm in class. Congrats to A Band for a successful performance at the pep rally! I am very excited to see how we all process and grow this school year! This form will be going out each week containing updates from class and any upcoming performances or other announcements.<\/p>\n

This week focused on learning the basics of scales. We are starting with Bb Major and it will be the first scale in our scale challenge this semester. I also passed out the first piece for Veteran\u2019s Day: Let Freedom Ring. This should be practiced at home. 3 hours overall for each week is a good goal with any of the music.<\/p>\n
