The 8th grade Education group had a trunk at Hope Lutheran’s Trunk-or-Treat. We handed out 300 honey sticks and flyers with information about our bee hive. We also decorated the trunk with the beehive’s logo. Ella and Emily wore our beekeeper outfits. A lot of little kids were super excited to see somebody handing out something besides candy. The parents thought that it was a unique idea. Some parents also asked to try honey sticks as well. Many people didn’t know we have a beehive. People were excited to hear that there will be honey for sale soon at school. Many people asked us when the honey will be for sale. It was so fun educating the people about our beehive.
