Newsletter For September 23rd – 27th

September 19, 2024

Happy 237th Birthday to the Constitution! We celebrated on Monday, September 17th by Zooming with students around the nation. Together we all recited the Pledge of Allegience, sang the Star Spangled Banner, and watched several public service annoncements that were created by students across the nation. Each student will be receiving a pocket Constitution for participating. We also got a shout out to our school during the announcements! We really enjoyed sharing our Autobiography Posters with our class on Friday, and are displaying them all in our classroom. Thank you to our room mothers, Mrs. Guild and Mrs. Giest for providing our 4th grade game at the Fall Carnival! Our field trip to Ernie Miller Park is coming up this Tuesday, September 24th. The school uniform will be the dress for the day. Please send a sack lunch and drink for the trip. We will leave school that day no later than 8:45 AM. Thank you Mrs. Hilt, Mrs. Griest, and Mrs. Pedersen for being our drivers for the day! I look forward to visiting with each of you at our Parent / Teacher Conferences! We have an Early Dismissal on Thursday and No School on Friday. Enjoy your long weekend!
