3rd – 6th School Scoop

September 10, 2025

Chapel: Mr. Kirsch, the principal at the Lutheran High School of Kansas City, led our chapel with a focus on Luke 15 and the parables of the Lost Sheep and the Lost Coin.  We  have all experienced loss – being lost from our families in busy places, or losing someone or something valuable to us, something irreplaceable.  We “sweep” every corner looking for our possessions. Romans 3 reminds us that we “all have turned away” from God, and we are lost in our sin.  We can’t find our own way back to God, so Jesus comes after us!  “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12) Praise God that He sent His only Son as a sacrifice for our sins. Jesus has rescued us, and we are no longer lost!

Verse to Remember: “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” – Luke 19:10
