Newsletter For September 15th – 18th

September 10, 2025

The 4th and 5th graders tagged and released 7 Monarch butterflies on Friday! We saw that a few of them were still in our school butterfly garden on Saturday evening. We decided they didn’t want to miss the Fall Carnival where we had a great time playing games, having our faces painted, spending time with friends, and lots more! Thank you again to all who donated prizes and helped with our class game. Thank you, Mrs. Clancy for the extra time you put in and for donating such a wonderful supply of prizes! We plan on releasing at least a dozen more butterflies this week!

Special Reading/Writing Project

The 4th graders are excited to share their special autobiography posters – “Extra, Extra, Read All About Me.” The poster will serve as a book report/project and is due on Friday, September 12th.

Parent / Teacher Conferences – Mandatory

I am looking forward to visiting with you at our upcoming conferences to share the growth we have already seen this quarter! Thank you to those who have made their conference appointments! As we near our first mid quarter, it is a great time for us to visit, ask and answer any questions we may have, and talk about up-coming events!  We are planning on having our Parent / Teacher Conferences on Thursday afternoon, September 18th and the morning of Friday, September 19th. Please use the Sign Up Genius link below to schedule your appointment. Thank you!
