Pastor Jacob from Trinity Lutheran led our all-school chapel today. Pastor Jacob asked the students what causes them to be afraid. He reminded them that God is always there to be our hiding place. He read in Matthew about the temptations of Jesus in the wilderness. Three times the devil tried to tempt Jesus, but in each case Jesus used the Word of God, quoted from the Scriptures, to counteract the attacks. God sent angels to minister to Jesus. God wants us to come to Him for safety, comfort, and strength. He is all we need when we face difficulties and troubles. Our all-powerful Heavenly Father loves us with an everlasting love. He will keep us safe with Him and will take us safely to live with Him one day in Heaven.
Verse to remember: Psalm 32 – “You are a hiding place for me; You preserve me from trouble.”
Sunday Worship *Schedule Change– Join us for church at Hope Lutheran Church at 8 am or 10:30 am services on March 8th.
*3rd – 8th Grade will sing @ 8:00 am service,
*Kinder – 2nd Grade will sing @ 10:30 am,
*A Band will play during Sunday School hour at 9:00 am.
Please join us for fellowship & coffee hour starting at 9:00 AM. School parents are sponsoring treats in Concord Hall. The BOOK FAIR will also be open from 9:00 am – 10:15 am that morning.
