Christmas Families
Hope is collecting donations of gift cards for our Christmas Families until December 13th. Gift cards are needed from Price Chopper, Target, Walmart, or Aldi’s. These stores are located throughout the metro area and work best for families. Please put the amount of the gift card on the back so they can be divided evenly to the families. Thank you for all your donations!

Christmas Program

The 1st grade Christmas Program is on December 14th at 6:30 pm. All students are expected to attend. Please email me if your child is unable to attend. We are looking forward to sharing the Christmas story!

Holiday Shop

The 7th and 8th graders will be hosting a Holiday Shop for Hope’s students on December 14th and 15th. This is an opportunity for students to do some Christmas shopping for their families.

Reading Books

Students will keep their reading books at school. Students should read aloud for at least ten minutes each night. There will be a space in the binder beginning next week for you to indicate that your student completed their reading assignment.

Uniform Shoes
Students should not wear light up shoes to school. Please ensure your child wears uniform-appropriate shoes to school.

Cold Weather
Your child should bring a winter jacket to school every day. They may also bring a Hope sweatshirt for the classroom. Sweatshirts are not warm enough to wear outside for recess for cold and snowy weather. Students may also bring hats and gloves to keep warm.

Water Bottles

Please send your student with a water bottle every day. It is important for them to stay hydrated and focused on their learning.
