February 13, 2024

Dear Parents,

Week at a Glance

This week in math we are learning numbers from 60 to 100. In religion we are continuing our study of Jesus’ earthly ministry and miracles. Our memory this week is the third article of the Apostles’ Creed which teaches about the work of the Holy Spirit. Our handwriting lesson is on writing the letter “”D “d”. In language we are adding suffixes to root words and writing informational sentences. In reading we are learning about final consonant blends and digraphs. In science we are reviewing our unit on living things. In social studies the class is learning to determine main topics and supporting details. In music we are preparing music for our Grandparents’ Day program and distinguishing high pitches from low pitches in songs.
