Dear Parents,

Week at a Glance
This week in handwriting we are writing numbers to 20. In religion we are learning about how God gave the Ten Commandments to the people of Israel. For memory we learned the sixth commandment. In math we learned subtraction using a number line and subtracting zero. In reading we are continuing to learn about neighborhoods and words with the middle “e” sound. In social studies our lessons are about church and school roles. In science we are practicing identifying plant and animal traits. During language our lessons are on identifying words with the “dr-” and “br-” consonant blends.
