Thanksgiving Break
Hope will not have school from November 27th-29th in celebration of Thanksgiving. I pray that you have a safe and enjoyable break!
Cold Weather
The weather continues to get colder. Please make sure you send your child to school with a jacket every day. Morning recess is often colder than the maximum temperature for the day. Additionally your student may bring a uniform sweater or Hope sweatshirt to wear in the classroom if they are cold throughout the day. When the temperature is below 50 degrees students must have an extra layer to help them stay warm.
Christmas Families
This year will mark our 31st year of offering the love of Christ through the outpouring of food and clothing to those less fortunate during the Christmas season. We are asking you to consider joining us in making it another successful season for the families that Hope Lutheran School has adopted during this season of giving. Hope’s choirs will perform at Crown Center on December 17th. Students should be there by 5:30 pm. They will meet their teacher upstairs in front of the Hallmark store. Students will wear a white top with black bottoms. Girls may wear a solid black dress if they choose.
Please note that the following spelling and memory assignments will be for the first week of December. Due to the short week we will not have a spelling or memory test the week of November 25-26.
