Crown Center Performance
Hope’s choirs will perform at Crown Center on December 17th. Students should be there by 5:30 pm. They will meet their teacher upstairs in front of the Hallmark store. Students will wear a white top with black bottoms. Girls may wear a solid black dress if they choose.
Water Bottles
Students should bring a water bottle to school every day. They have opportunities to refill their water bottle during the day. Having a water bottle at their desk helps students stay hydrated and focused on their learning.
Cold Weather
The weather continues to be cold as we near Christmas. Please make sure you send your child to school with a jacket every day. Morning recess is often colder than the maximum temperature for the day. Additionally your student may bring a uniform sweater or Hope sweatshirt to wear in the classroom if they are cold throughout the day. When the temperature is below 50 degrees students must have an extra layer to help them stay warm. When the weather is 39 degrees or colder students must have a heavy winter jacket. Students are also welcome to bring hats and gloves to keep them warm during recess.
Christmas Program
The 1st-8th grade Christmas program is Thursday, December 19th at 6:30 p.m. Students should meet their teacher in their classroom by 6:15. Students should wear their Christmas best, no jeans. There will be a fundraiser dinner served beforehand at 5:00 p.m.
