Week at a Glance
This week in handwriting we are writing letters “c” and “e”. Our spelling words this week are contractions. In reading we are learning attributes of poetry. Our math lessons are reviewing related addition and subtraction facts as well as fact families. In social studies we are learning about government structure. Our religion lessons are about Moses and Israel. In language we are distinguishing between declarative and interrogative sentences. During science class we are learning ways matter can change. For memory we are learning the fourth, fifth, and sixth commandment.

Fall Break
I pray you have a safe and enjoyable fall break! Hope will resume school on Monday, October 6th. No work is assigned over break. Students are recommended to practice their memory, spelling, and reading throughout the week.
Trunk or Treat
Hope will host a Trunk or Treat event on Friday, October 24th from 5:30-7:00 pm. You are invited to attend!
