Dear Parents,

Week at a Glance
This week in reading we are learning about compound words and how to edit writing for mistakes. In language we are categorizing nouns. In math we are working on a measurement unit and are studying inches, feet, and yards. During science we are learning about habitats and how they meet the needs of the animals who live there. Our religion lessons are about Jesus’ birth and the visit of the wise men. We are continuing to practice cursive lowercase letters and worked on “l” and “b” this week. In social studies we read about Sacagawea and are looking at maps of North America.
