Dear Parents,

Week at a Glance
This week in handwriting we are writing letters “a” and “d”. In language we are reading and writing words with consonant blends. We are reviewing for our unit test on communities in social studies. In reading we are working on words with beginning consonant blends. This week in science we are learning how matter can experience physical change. In religion we are learning about the history of Israel during the time of Joseph to Moses. This week we memorized the third and fourth commandments, which teach us to set aside time to worship God and to respect our parents and other authorities. Our math lessons are about subtraction strategies as we subtract within twenty.
