All students must bring a coat to school that is suitable for the weather. Morning recess is often colder than the high temperature for the day. Students must have a coat when the temperature is below 50 degrees. If the temperature is 39 degrees or lower, students must have a winter coat to wear. If students do not bring a coat they will miss recess. Please note that Hope hoodies are not a sufficient layer when a jacket is required.
Christmas Store
Hope will host a Christmas store for students to purchase small gifts for family members on December 10-11. A flyer will be going home in your student’s Thursday folder today. 2nd grade will be shopping at the Christmas store on December 11th. If your student plans to purchase items from the Christmas store please ensure they bring their money with them on that day.
Christmas Party
2nd grade will have a class Christmas party on Friday, December 19th. It will begin at 10 am in the 2nd grade classroom. You are invited to attend and celebrate with your student! A sign up genius will be available soon from our 2nd grade room parents if you would like to contribute supplies for this event.
