Dear Parents,
“And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” – Luke 2:10–11
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your families! It has been an incredible blessing to teach your students this past semester. I pray you stay safe and healthy over the break and enjoy some rest and time with family.
Week at a Glance
This week we learned about Esther in religion as well as reviewed the Christmas story. In math we finished our unit on double-digit subtraction with regrouping. We finished our social studies unit on good and services. We continued our study of plants and animals in science. In reading we practiced subject-verb agreement as well as common and proper nouns. In language we worked on prefixes and sounds ‘g’ and ‘dge’. In handwriting we practiced writing lowercase “i”, “u”, and “t” in cursive.
