Dear Parents,
Happy New Year! It is a blessing to be back in the classroom for another semester of school.
Week at a Glance
This week in math we are reviewing math concepts from last semester and previewing measurement concepts for our upcoming unit. In reading we are practicing vowel teams with the long “o” sound. In language we are working on prefixes and learning how to use proofreading marks. During social studies we are beginning a new unit on people and places. In religion we are learning about John the Baptist and the Old Testament prophecies that refer to Jesus. In science we are learning about animal habitats.
