November 1, 2023

Dear Parents,

Thank you to everyone who supported Hope during our Chick-fil-A spirit night and our Trunk-or-Treat event!

Week at a Glance

This week for memory we are practicing the tenth commandment. We are learning about King David in religion class. Our current science unit is about living and non-living things. We are categorizing how plants and animals are similar and different. We are learning subtraction up to ten in math and how to subtract when zero is one of the numbers in the equation. We are developing independence in reading and writing during language class as we learn spelling words and correct sentences for punctuation and capitalization. Our social studies lessons this week are about American heroes and what it means to have good character. In choir we are rehearsing our music for Veteran’s Day and our Christmas Program.
