Parent/Teacher Conferences – Thank you for conferencing with me last week. I feel very blessed to be able to share in your child’s learning and growth!
Science – We will be taking our Chapter 1 science test next Wednesday covering Forces and Motion. We will be reviewing during class next week. You may wish to use pages 29-35 to review again at home. I am asking the class to take their books tomorrow.
Book-It – We are participating in the Pizza Hut Book-It Program this year. Please use the monthly reading calendars to keep track of the number of minutes read each day. Remember that our goal is to read for at least 20 minutes, 6 out of 7 days each week. Please keep track of the minutes for Book-It on the calendar in this week’s Thursday envelope to turn in at the end of the month. All those who have met our reading goal will receive a certificate for a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.
School Picture Day – For school pictures, students may wear dress shirts or school-appropriate dresses. If students choose to dress up, they need to bring their uniform to change into. Shoes should still be close-toed. Order pictures online at http://inter-state.com/order and use Event Code 87000EB.
