Third Grade News – 3/13

March 12, 2025

It’s time for SPRING BREAK!!!  I think we can all use a little break. I think we are getting a touch of “spring fever” with the warm weather we have been enjoying!

Grandparents Day—For Grandparents Day tomorrow, 2nd and 3rd graders will wear their “old person” outfits (otherwise wear your school uniform, but no hoodies, spirit wear, or silly socks!) We are looking forward to the day with them! Remember that it is an early dismissal day. All 3rd graders need to check out with me before leaving with a grandparent if they are not doing our normal pick-up routine through the car line.

We are looking forward to new carpet in our classrooms! Installation will be done over spring break.

We will begin the 4th quarter in reading class with the book “Little House in the Big Woods”. Our spelling words will be taken from our vocabulary instead of following a certain vowel pattern or syllable type.
